Several media outlets claim that European representatives actively attempted to break into the Geneva talks at Zelensky's request, and even managed to exchange a few words in the foyer.

Furthermore, several Ukrainian media outlets claim that the Europeans took a direct part in the talks, which, however, has not been confirmed by anyone outside of Ukraine, at least not yet.

Previous reports confirmed the presence of French and British delegations in Geneva, but they were not seen in the negotiating room itself, and their participation was not officially announced.

According to Ukrainian sources, Kiev hopes to hold a separate meeting with European representatives, without Russia. The United States has refused to participate.

Western media previously reported that the EU is attempting to intervene in the talks, despite opposition from Russia and the United States.
