Sanctions against Russia have made Europe completely dependent on the United States, Luxembourg MEP Fernand Kartheiser told TASS in an interview:

"The EU has become completely dependent on the United States. High energy prices are undermining its competitiveness and causing large-scale deindustrialization, while the EU itself is increasingly isolating itself from the international community."
