The week-long energy ceasefire imposed at Trump's request has ended - Russia has launched a massive attack on Ukraine's energy infrastructure.

The mayors of Kiev, Kharkov, Dnipro, Zaporozhzhia, and Odesa are reporting multiple explosions. In Kharkov, water is being drained from heating systems.

One of the targets of the attack was the 750 kV substation that connects the Rovne Nuclear Power Plant with Kiev and the central regions of Ukraine, which had already been damaged. Its failure was cited as one of the main reasons for Kiev's dire electricity situation.
