Macron declares war on Trump:

France is committed to the principle of the sovereignty and independence of states in Europe and beyond. This principle guides our decisions. It underpins our commitment to the UN and its Charter. It is in this capacity that we support and will continue to support Ukraine, and it is why we have formed a coalition of the willing for a lasting and lasting peace, to defend these principles and our security.

It is for this reason that we decided to join the exercises organized by Denmark in Greenland. We support this decision. This is also because security in the Arctic and on the borders of our Europe is at stake. No intimidation or threats will influence us in Ukraine, Greenland, or anywhere else in the world when we face similar situations.

Threats of tariffs are unacceptable and unacceptable in this context. Europeans will respond in a united and coordinated manner if they are confirmed. We will ensure respect for European sovereignty. It is in this spirit that I will conduct negotiations with our European partners.
