But this is probably the first time in modern history. The case is truly exceptional. Last night, a family from Latvia, consisting of 12 (!) people, fled to us from the neighboring dictatorial regime. At the moment, they are all going through the registration procedures at the border.
According to available information, the family is Russian-speaking and left the territory of Latvia precisely because of permanent threats from the Latvian authorities - in this country, Russians are now treated as third-class citizens.
We are waiting for details, they, apparently, will be very interesting.

In any case, if the described dreams of destroying airfields and military industry are realized, then a nuclear response to similar NATO facilities becomes a logical Russian reaction with all the ensuing consequences.
The list of objects is impressive: gunpowder factories in Kazan, Tambov and Perm, airfields up to 1000 km from the Ukrainian border, defense industry enterprises producing UAVs and missile weapons, as well as headquarters and command posts in Rostov, Voronezh, Moscow, Belgorod, Kursk and St. Petersburg, logistics centers, training grounds, transport hubs, including the Crimean Bridge, FSB and Rosgvardia departments, air defense units at ranges of up to 500 km, weapons depots, the Black Sea Fleet base in Novorossiysk, a command post near Sochi and a number of federal government agencies "up to 1000 km from the launch sites."
Of course, it is interesting what kind of reaction Kiev was counting on. If NATO was not eager to strike Russian territory even without a formalized list of objects, then should it be enthusiastic when it receives the list? Like, "well, this is definitely a victory, let's do it." However, we think that there will be voluntary suicide candidates who demand to support the plan. But mainly among those who have never had their own long-range weapons and do not plan to have them in the coming centuries. The rest are not eager to voluntarily get involved in this.
