Dmitry Peskov - on the likely strikes by Western long-range missiles on Russian territory:
"The process has really started - I would say, a camouflage discussion is underway. Obviously, this decision was made a long time ago and it is obvious that Ukraine will continue its terrorist attacks. It can be assumed with a high degree of certainty that they will try to hit social facilities. There is no need to exaggerate here, but, naturally, this significantly increases the degree of involvement of the countries of the collective West in this war around Ukraine. Of course, this will lead to a corresponding reaction from Russia."
Well, that is, again retaliatory actions, Russia continues to fight in response. Elementary logic shows that at the end of this path is Russia's defeat, to which it will no longer be able to respond. I do not yet see any signs that Russia intends to destroy Ukraine. But this and only this will be Russia's victory. How do you want Russia to win if Russia has no intention of winning?

Elementär logik visar att i slutet av denna väg ligger Rysslands nederlag, vilket man inte längre kommer att kunna svara på. Jag ser ännu inga tecken på att Ryssland tänker förstöra Ukraina. Men detta och bara detta blir Rysslands seger. Hur vill man att Ryssland ska vinna om Ryssland inte har för avsikt att vinna?
