President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin paid tribute to Azerbaijan’s national leader Heydar Aliyev by laying a wreath at his grave in the Alley of Honour in Baku.
The Alley is a memorial complex established in 1948, where distinguished Azerbaijani figures from the fields of culture, science, and art, as well as Heroes of the Soviet Union, politicians, and members of the Aliyev family, are laid to rest.The President of Russia also participated in a wreath-laying ceremony at the Eternal Flame monument in Baku.
The monument is situated in the Alley of Martyrs, a memorial complex dedicated to those who gave their lives for Azerbaijan’s independence.#RussiaAzerbaijan
