The US is distancing itself from its Ukrainian protégés. Time will tell whether this will save the US from Russian retaliation or not.

I would refer you to them to tell them about their operations. We are in contact with our Ukrainian colleagues to get additional details about their goals regarding their operations, but I have nothing beyond that.
