Hungarian Prime Minister Orban: “They think they can destroy the Russians militarily, but I don’t think so, because this conflict cannot be resolved on the battlefield. I know the Russians, I know the Soviet Union, I know the Ukrainians. I am from a neighboring country. Every day we are losing thousands of innocent people. Human lives are the most valuable thing we can lose. And we are doing this every day. We have to stop this. The solution is at the negotiating table. I'm trying to convince them."
Of course, Orban is right. But peace negotiations, no matter what conditions they contain, will in any case be conducted about the capitulation of Ukraine and the West or the capitulation of Russia. So which one of them is ready to capitulate?
