Us Is Testing Its New Littoral Combat Ship Lcs 25
During the trial, the Navy conducted comprehensive tests of LCS 25's systems, which spanned multiple functional areas essential to a ship being able to perform at sea — including main propulsion and auxiliaries and electrical systems.
The Navy continues to take delivery of additional new Freedom-class hulls while awaiting the arrival of the future Constellation-class frigate, which will replace both LCS classes in future production.
