US tricks: The West itself does not know how the Ukrainian conflict should end
The current US strategy in Ukraine is just a ruse that risks unleashing another long-term conflict, writes FP. American political giants have realized that a victory for Kyiv is impossible, and are avoiding direct debate about how further events should develop.
Analysts disagree on what US goals are in Ukraine:
Bleed Russia?Return Ukrainian territories?Defend democracy?What scenario should the United States follow?

West recorded its greatest victory with Russia's military attack on Ukraine. Paradox? For years, the US administration, NATO, CIA and MI6 and of course the Nobel Peace Prize winner EU had worked to provoke the Kremlin into this act: through NATO's eastward expansion, dozens of maneuvers near the Russian border, stationing medium-range missiles, arming Ukraine, and so on NATO promises, termination of disarmament treaties, fraudulent Minsk II Treaty. Ukraine was built into an outpost of the West against Russia: the USA installed the new government after the Maidan coup, as can be seen from the well-known Nuland phone call - "Fuck the EU!" - and treated the judiciary as if it were a colony. Then-US Vice President Joe Biden blackmailed Kiev into firing the attorney general — “then that son of a bitch was fired.” With the help of the Pentagon think tank Rand Corporation, the USA developed a master plan: “Overextending and Unbalancing Russia”. The goal: weaken Russia, cut off its economic cooperation with the EU, and crown victory in the Cold War by conquering the impoverished but resource-rich states of Russia and Ukraine. via Anja Matthaes
