The swedish embassy has queried us about a story a swedish journalist has picked up that biden gave brezhnev a letter on the wallenberg case. Swedish journalist did approach emboff at hotel immediately after she had interviewed the senator and inquired if embassy was aware of a letter from Biden to Brezhnev on wallenberg. Emboff replied that there was a letter given to the embassy to forward to Brezhnev but that the contents of the letter were unknown.
