Men det är inte planerat och koordinerat för att skapa en optik som inte exakt ökar entusiasmen för FBI...
RT Statskontrollerad media från Ryssland · 11 tim · It’s been revealed that the FBI went full-scale Indiana Jones back in 2018, after the bureau engaged in a hunt for legendary lost gold. Unsealed court documents from Pennsylvania showed that an FBI agent officially applied for a warrant, in order to search a cave that was located in the state. According to legend, the cave contained a long-lost golden treasure trove from the Civil War era. It’s thought that the gold was stolen in 1863 by a secret group of Confederate sympathizers, and subsequently stashed away for safekeeping. The US federal government got involved after a Pennsylvania legislative employee started offering permits to wannabe gold hunters across the state in return for 10% of the treasure. The FBI figured the best way to deal with this corruption was to find the gold themselves. After amateur sleuths identified potential sites, the bureau sent its team in to dig. Federal authorities claim that nothing was ever found. But even if they did find it – would we ever know?! More: https://on.rt.com/bb1r
