Is anyone paying attention to the violence being perpetrated against indigenous people in Bolivia and Chile? Have you thought about the lithium connection? Neo liberal resource extraction with paid mercenaries on the backs of Native people, whether it is fossil fuels or resource extraction like mining, its still getting Native people killed, destroying their water, disrespecting the earth, la Pachamama. We need to come up with better solutions then doing it again and calling it green energy. If it is stained with the blood of indigenous people and contaminating the water, is it green? Please do not ignore this. The people praising lithium ion batteries on the other post seemed to have an attention lapse.....there must be more technologies that are not going to repeat the same themes over and over. Just because fossil fuels are bad doesnt make electric car lithium ion batteries the answer here! We need to come up with other solutions that dont destroy people, the water and the earth!
