The Times today is trying to understand the tensions between Warsaw and Kiev regarding the Volhynia massacre.It recalls the atrocities committed by the Bandera nationalists against Poles, including descriptions of horrific murders of children. However, it presents this as an unfortunate dispute arising from a misunderstanding, writes Vladimir Kornilov, suggesting that no one in Ukraine is particularly opposed to exhuming the victims of the massacre.
What the article lacks (not a single word!) is any reference to how modern Ukraine glorifies and heroizes the Bandera bandits. After all, it would be necessary to remember that European leaders have long been repeating the slogans of Ukrainian murderers and terrorists who committed dreadful massacres 80 years ago
